Comment on Firefox deleting a single site history you have visited by Taylor http://kmdarshan.com/wordpress/?p=3362&cpage=1#comment-157 Taylor Mon, 25 Jan 2010 02:52:18 +0000 http://kmdarshan.com/wordpress/?p=3362#comment-157 "...in the previous versions, you couldn’t delete a particular website/domain you have visited." That's not true. The older versions of Firefox (pre version 3) had this ability; but the older versions offered far easier options than the current method(s). Prior to the development of FF 3, we were able to not only delete entire domains in the history sidebar, but we also had the ability to select & delete multiple domains at a time. The newer "Show All History" feature is lame and time consuming by comparison. Since "Show all History" doesn't contain the URLs of a given site in one folder, (like the history system of FF 2 & below) users now must select tons of individual links in order to clear them, even when sorting by site. This mozilla post shows screenshots of what I'm talking about: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=1385265 What a pain! I can't understand why the FF developers removed that ability. “…in the previous versions, you couldn’t delete a particular website/domain you have visited.”

If this doesnt work open IE7 with any url other than blank page go to SilkTest->Tools->Enable extension select the page and click ok on next dialog box. Now close the browser and open the same browser and the test button should be enabled that mean your browser configuration is fine. I used 6.0 for running most tests of mine and firefox for this. Might be you would need to upgrade silktest to a later version, which would cost a ton!!!
